Prof. Dr. Szabolcs Várbíró is a distinguished expert in obstetrics-gynecology and endocrinology in Hungary.
He graduated with a medical degree from Semmelweis University in 1995 and holds multiple specialty certifications. He completed board exams in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2005), Clinical Pharmacology (2009), and Endocrinology (2013). Concurrently, he has been active in clinical practice, scientific research, and university teaching. He earned his Ph.D. in 2001, became Med. habil in 2014, and was awarded the title of Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2021.
Since 2024, he has been Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Szeged, Albert Szent-Györgyi Clinical Center, and serves as President of the Hungarian Society of Fetal Medicine. His scientific research and teaching activities continue at Semmelweis University. His private practice is available in Budapest and exclusively at the Újszeged Medical Center.
