Prof. Dr. Várkonyi Tamás, az MDT főtitkára és Prof. Dr. Wittmann István, az MDT elnöke adott ki elnöki és főtitkári levelet a Tresiba inzulin ellátásával kapcsolatban.

Aggodalomra nincs ok, mert ismereteik szerint az időleges hiánynak nincs más oka, mint a tartalékolás céljából történő felvásárlás!

Tudomásunkra jutott, hogy a FlexTouch beadó készülék forgalmazása, amelyet a Tresiba adagolásához is használunk, nem tud a jelenlegi megnövekedett igényekkel lépést tartani. Hangsúlyozzuk, hogy nincs inzulin-hiány, de az injekciós toll-ellátással probléma lehet. Felmerülhet, hogy nem másról, mint pánik-vásárlásról lehet szó.

Amennyiben az ország egyes területein mégis akut hiány állna elő, a Tresiba-kezelésen lévők átmeneti átállítása jöhet szóba, hasonló, 2. generációs, bazális inzulinanalógra, melynek beadó készüléke elérhető.

We have come to know that the distribution of the FlexTouch dosing device, which is also used to dose Tresiba, cannot keep up with the current increased demands. We emphasize that there is no shortage of insulin, but there may be a problem with the pen supply. It may appear that it is nothing more than panic buying.

If an acute shortage were to occur in some areas of the country, a temporary switch of those on Tresiba treatment to a similar, 2nd generation, basal insulin analog, whose delivery device is available, could be considered.
